Tulip festival

Saturday we went to the tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point. I was really pretty with thousands of tulips every where. I wanted to get really cute spring/1 year old pictures with Alyssa. Below are the best we got. She will not sit still for even one second. She had so much fun walking around (trying to pick the flowers) and running down the hills. She also loved the waterfall and was trying to climb over the rocks to get to the water. She scraped up her leg. It makes me sad that I can't protect her from getting hurt. Now that she is so mobile and independent I guess that is part of growing up.

Wedding

This weekend my cousin Michelle got married. I was able to go to the sealing. She got married in the Draper Temple. It was a beautiful sealing. This was the first time I was able to witness a sealing besides my own. It reminded me of my wedding and was very peaceful. I am grateful I was able to be there. We took some pictures on the ground while waiting for the couple to come out. Alyssa enjoyed exploring.

The Zoo

We went to the Zoo with out friends and their daughter Emma (Alyssa's BFF). We had a lot of fun. The girls loved looking at the animals until the end then they wanted to walk around on their own. Learning to be independant can be hard =).

They loved the water thing. Their hair got so wet but they just had so much fun.

HELP

Alyssa is not eating well. This has been progressing over the last few weeks but the last 3 days I barely can get her to eat anything. She only takes a bottle at night about 6 oz so it's not like she is full on milk. Last night for dinner I tried to feed her a chicken and rice bowel (which she use to love) she took 2 bites, then I gave her cottage cheese (again she use to eat a gallon at a time) she had 2 bites, then one bite of a sandwich and a half of cheese slice. She refused to eat any more after that. This morning I actually got her to eat a whole yogurt and 2 bites of toast. What do I do? I feel like she will wither away. She is only in the 7% for weight she is 13 months and weighs 18 lbs. I feel like she will eat if she is hungry but I also think she likes playing and would rather do that than eat. Should I give her pediasure or vitamins to make sure she is getting enough nutrients? Or should I not even worry?

Easter weekend

Sorry for the weird formating I don't get why I can't get it to work the way i want it too. grr

We had a fun easter weekend. We went to Discovery Gateway a Children's museum on Saturday with some friends. Alyssa really enjoyed it. She loved playing with all the different things. She is to small and got pushed around and knocked in the head by the other kids but for the most part it was very enjoyable.

Easter was fun, it was weird not going to church since it was conference. Alyssa was so cute, we had a hunt for the older people in the house and she followed us around holding her easter basket. She copies everything we do. She really enjoyed the candy, but that is a problem because now she is not eating real food very well but of course if she sees candy or the easter baskets she wants some. Silly little girl. We went to my Grandma's for easter dinner. It was nice to see some of my cousins that live in the area.
