Depth of field

Here are some pictures. I am practicing with aperture and depth of field. I am going to be posting pictures pretty often, so let me know if you like them, what you like and any ideas of things to shoot. Also does anyone know how to change the blog to a 3 column from a 2 column?

Love the pictures of Alyssa...as she is always a great subject to practice on.

You can change the format of your blog in the settings... Should be top right of your blog page after you sign in.

Just keep in mind the 1/3 2/3 rule with taking pictures of solitary objects. And if you are taking a picture of something that "ends", show me the end. Example, the icicle photo. I would have liked it better if I could see the bottom of it.

Ashley, I think it is great you are learning the in and outs of good picture taking. I've always wanted to do it. I notice that the close ups really are more interesting pictures.
