Baby showers!!!

This week I had two baby showers. One was thrown by my moms best friend Holly and the other by my cousin Ali. A few weeks ago Russ family also had a baby shower. We went to Mimi's cafe and had a nice lunch. Both were very fun and I got some great stuff! Diapers, clothes, toys, books, blankets, baby carrier, etc.

At Ali's shower we played a great game called guess the baby food. Just the smell of the baby food had me nauseated!! They were fun flavors like chicken and rice, squash, ham with a bunch of other flavors! At Hollys shower we guessed alot of baby trivia some facts were a little scary, like how many diapers one baby goes through before they are potty trained ( I can't remember the answer but its alot!) The parties were great and I am getting really excited for the little ones arrival. My cousin was due one week before me and see already had her baby (3 weeks early). Hollys daughter in law was due 2 weeks before me and she had her baby (2 weeks early). So now I am the only one left....Russ and I finished organizing the nursery yesterday, put all the clothes in the dresser etc. It is really cute and now just needs the little baby!

As for Russ. He has been going to school, working, playing hockey and dealing with his very pregnant wife! =) He took a (ice) Hockey class at school last semester which he though was really fun, so he joined a city league this semester. He is in the beginner league but doing very well. There team as won all of their games and in the last game Russ scored 2 goals and had 2 assists! I will have to get a picture and post it later.

Winter fun

These pictures are a few weeks old but good none the less. We went and saw the lights at temple square and we went tubing at soldiers hollow.

Russ filmed us going down a run, we attached four tubes together which makes you go faster.

Congrats to my hard working husband.  He got a 4.0 this semester.  He was also working almost full time at his job for US Airways as the Manager of Emergency Planning and Response.  We are not sure how long he will be working there.  He is working from home so he is pretty much as his boss's command 24/7.

Christmas Time

Well we had a great Christmas. We love that we had tons of snow on Christmas and that the weather wasn't too bad so we could visit our families. We enjoyed all the different Christmas parties we had and have one more to attend on Sunday. We are also excited that we have two more months before our baby is expected to arrive. I have some belly pictures to share. I am not fond of taking these pictures because I don't like to see my self so large! It seems the baby is growing rapidly and everything with the pregnancy is perfect (no swelling etc) But she is making me uncomfortable these days, her favorite position is sticking her foot under my right Rib cage. I have 9 weeks to go and I am sure that as she grows the more uncomfortable I will get. Good thing Russ gave me a Prenatal massage certificate for Christmas! =)

30 weeks

We are getting ready for our baby girl to arrive and collecting things slowly so we don't have to buy everything at once. We have had the crib for a few months and this is the bedding that I got for Christmas, it is my favorite gift =) It looks so adorable now it just needs a little girl!

Here are some other Christmas activities photos

Please HELP RUSS!!

For Russ's English class he has to write a research paper. For this paper he needs data from a survey he created. Above is a link to the survey, it is only 10 questions, if you could take it it would be very helpful. He is polling college graduates and current college students, so if that applies to you please take it!!! Thanks!!!!

Other updates:
I can feel the baby move a lot now. It is real kicks and movements I can feel now rather than the bubbling it was before. It is one of my favorite things because it makes her feel real and when she moves I know she is there.

Russ and I spoke in church today. We were assigned to talk about Pres. Uchtdorfs talk from conference "The Infinite Power of Hope" People told us we did well, so I guess it went good?

I start my job a week from Monday (Nov 17th) The office is only 5 minutes from our house. That is fabulous. When I was on rotations in Arizona I had an hour commute.

Thats all for now!
